I like how you shot this, Nat, with the trees standing so straight and almost lined up. There's a nice range of shadows and lights. It's very serene! - Patty
Autumn is definitely creeping in here, as can been seen by the drying grasses and the leaves beginning to change in the background. The contrast of the very green tree to the left leaves me with the feeling of summer just hanging on by its fingertips now and fast giving way to the inevitable changes inexorably approaching. I especially like the way the rutted road is going by us in the lower left-hand corner, not much used, by the look of it, but disappearing leaving us to wonder where it will take the one who follows its beckoning call. The light and shadow speaks to the clarity of your take and the angle gives the stand of trees an almost grove-like feel as the light plays in and around its branches and also illuminates the grass below...it helps to create also a gentle DOF, one that doesn't leave the beholder too far away from the lovely warmth and glow of this composition...nicely done :)PJ
I feel like I'm right there, in this beautiful fall scene! The lovely monochromatic yellows are warm and inviting and you came up with a very creative title.
Your kind words and comments on my work is very much appreciated. Please don't feel like you have to thank me for commenting. Continue capturing the beauty that you have. Tracey
