This shot was taken in April 04 at Machu Pichu. I like how the mist embraces the scene, and how intense the green was. If you blow it up and let it take over your screen, you can almost feel the dampness and fresh air on your face.

No, I didn't... I am not into hiking much, and the weather was just not the best to go out there. I was lucky I was able to take a shot with no rain pouring on my lens!

Hello Susanna....My son was here last October on his honeymoon...he really thought it awsome, as is this image is!...he also told me it nearly killed him climbing up to see it! because of the oxygen, (or lack of it!)...lovely shot.....Bob

I love the cloud laying on the mountain tops and if you look very hard for the people it gives a great idea of the scale. Lovely day for this view
