Watching this volunteer in a Museum workshop restoring old bits of machinery was like peeping through the window of Aladdin's cave.

He has probably forgotten more about repairs then most people will ever know. A lot to look at through this window.
Wonderful colors.
Good post Sue

The man looks like a piece of a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle - very interesting photo. Thanks.

The reds are very saturated, the man looks as if he is having a heart attack. The effect is very strong and I am not sure it does much for me. Sometimes subtler post processing can yield more interesting results. Perhaps a less saturated sepia tome might have also worked. You have a lot of pixels to play with, so try cropping out the reflected strip lights with rather spoil the image, by using just the bottom right 6 panes of the window putting the man on the top left 1/3 crossing point and get rid of the fire exit and rather bland ceiling as well.

I'd have to agree with Chris in his comment above mine in terms of the technical aspects of the final image, but credit needs to be given where it's due.

This looks like it could easily be a Norman Rockwell piece. Not only is it quite pleasing as a 'moment in time' shot, but it takes on a very timeless quality as well. Good job there.

Now we just have to get you up to speed on the post work. ;-)

This HDR has the look of a Norman Rockwell painting. Very nice.
