Stompin' at the Savoy. Actually, I think the Savoy Ballroom was up in Harlem, so this obviously isn't the same one down south of Houston. The photo came our great, Alan.

Excellent clarity for 1/10 of a second. I couldn't have pulled it off without a tripod! I love the angle at which you shot this, and the lighting is fantastic. Superb night photography, Alan.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
I can only guess what equipment you are using Alan but image stabilisation maybe partially responsible for the lack of blur. Surprising results as you say, why not experiment with night photography further?
