Quite a beautifully crafted flame, Lori.

Colour palette is indeed reminiscent of spices (markets) for me as well. Thinking Middle Eastern-European.

Exceptionally clean render. That aspect alone has me transfixed. Ergo, my use and reference to 'crafted'. I can imagine the level of transformation manipulation you undertook to present to us your abstract here.

Well ... done.

And but of course ... thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)

Glorious! The color palette is just wonderful and the design is full of fascinating curves and globes. More splendid work by you, Lori! Reminds me of the jewels and trinkets of the Silk Road too.

Excellent work Lori. I am drawn to the warm, earthy colors. I must concur that spices seems very appropriate here. Good thinking !!!
The colored ovoid shapes are fascinating in of themselves as well as their duplication in the outer edges of the flame. Very eye-catching, fascinating and comforting on a chilly late autumn night.
Into my favorites this goes and many thanks for sharing this with me :=)

a nice spiral: I've seen way too many, but this one has some charm to it. Maybe it's the gradient, or the texure formed by the blur (?) variation. I also think that your title fits this one perfectly.
