I'd like to thank all those who have commented and provided me with suggestions on my recent uploads. I appreciate all of them!

These spheres leave so much open space, but I thought I'd try my hand at a few. Hope you enjoy! Best viewed full screen. Thanks for looking my friends! :) Lori

Lori, that open space is essential to the image -- it helps to define the sphere and it is a GORGEOUS sphere. I just put it in my desktop pictures folder which randomly puts up a new image every 5 minutes. This way I'll get to be pleasantly surprised by it sometime in the near future. This one reminds me of many things; an elegant marble, alien planet (can't help it - I'm into astronomy), the eye of some exotic lizard, but mostly it reminds me of the prehistoric (and modern - they're still with us) chambered Nautilus, a beautifully-shelled cephalopod that resembles a short-armed squid in a rounded shell. This critter can change its ballast in its shell and swim backwards with bursts of propelled water. Google Chambered Nautilus and you'll see what I mean. Look particularly for one with a dark background like this beauty of yours. Thank you for your talent and willingness to share it with us.

This is lovely. It almost looks like an elaborately decorated snails shell. Well done!

A new world born from the heart of a magic flower? Sea horses and snails? Well at least those are the impressions it gives me. lol.
It is a very beautiful and interesting creation.

A sea shell comes to mind as well. Love the colors, especially the golden tones. Beautiful work Lori.

I see the shell too, Lori. It's hard to see the actual sphere shape in this one, but that in no way detracts from it's beauty. And the gradient you chose for this one is perfection as well. Another gorgeous image for me to fave and save!
