I thought I'd try a different type of orb, with the background created in Photofiltre Studio. Hope you enjoy! Comments/critiques are most welcome and appreciated. Thanks for looking! :) Lori
I like those extra orbs in the background... it makes it a bit different, to have something else going on in that space! Beautiful colours and smooth lines.
Had me scratching my head initially, as I could not make out what Tootles was referring to ... cranked up my brightness settings and lo and behold ... orbs in the background.
And coincidentally, after just having viewed Tootle's most recent (in queue just before yours here) I thought to make mention on both of your creative and visual offerings ... to the viewers that is ... to ensure that they viewed each in full view.
Not sure if some get how gamma sensitive some fractals are, perhaps, even generally speaking. That said ...
Nice work, Lori. And very cute play on the flame with respect to it's title, lol.
Magic, Lori! My favourite setting, too! I love bubbles above any other - they add light and movement to anything ... there is a thought for a competition, and yours should win!

I didn't see those faint background orbs until I brought it up full size. They add a lot but I think that if the closer they got to your sphere, the lighter they got (and I mean only by a very small degree - you don't want them stealing the sphere's thunder) — that might enhance the whole image. Otherwise another top-drawer submission, Lori. It looks like a technicolor tornado trapped within a giant marble. Me likee. Into my favs.
Hmmm... I love the background, it seems to echo the orb... But I'm not sure that I like the fractal within the orb. first, the colors contrast too much: the low saturation orb and background don't go well with that bright orange or those bright blues. Second, even though the lines in the fractal are curved, they are not curved enough, so they clash with the perfect roundness of the circles. I dunno, maybe I'm being too picky. :)
I love the earthy tones in this creation! And it's as tho a flower is unfurling inside the orb. What a lovely idea you had here. I wish so much I could even begin doing these, but I'll just let the experts do that. I truly enjoy your ideas. This is truly a dancing creation to enjoy on my desktop. Verena
