As is the case with many M.C. Escher images, a combination of shapes often produces a new shape. In the center here I distinctly see a face and a long view into it's open mouth and down its throat. And as is normally the case with your art, Lori, there is a lot of 3D in here as well. Very nice.

I am not a lover of computer photography (photoshop) but as it's monochrome and I love this format, you have my vote.
