Great photo, what i specialy like in this image is the autenticity of it all, not only is the outfit of the pilot correct in time, but also the spitfire is carefully restored.
Even the interior is spot on in color, and no modern seat is installed, the mirror on top, the taped of gun holes, invasion stripes they even did install the very dangerous gunsight (glass panel of that can just be seen through the canopy)..., you name it all is correct.
Furthermore a Mitchel B-25 can be seen in the background, must have been a great and nostalgic day.
This is a great photo. the sharpness and pretty colors caught my eye immediately. I am curious about something...that pilot looks real, but is he? I ask that since the airplane is obviouslyn staged as is the sign in front of it. Everything else is on display. Either way, I love the capture of the pilot. Beautifully done.

Hello Ted....This is a lovely clear shot of the pilot and the Spitfire... Of course this is Britain’s best-loved fighter aircraft and hero of the Battle of Britain.....I love to listen to the noise of the engine when she is at low level and at full speed,a beautiful sound....Well done....All the best to you Ted...................................................Mick.
