The beer urges me on, the bewitching beer, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken.
Homer, The Odyssey
(note: beer substituted for wine)
I always find ruins fascinating. The site you gave was helpful and thanks for that and your introduction. This shots angle is excellent with great clarity. I like seeing the details of the stone work of the castle. Nice shadow play on one of the open (window) areas. Maybe you'll share more of these castles & ruins. Thanks Paul, for this view :*>
This is awesome.... yet again. You choose some wonderful things to shoot. Very clearly at that! So how did they make it into a pub/garden? Did they rebuild it .... doesn't look like there is enough there to be anything active.
Not familiar with the type of camera mentioned, but you got a heck of shot with it. Nicely balanced comp and you got some really good detail in the stone work. Went to the site, but couldn't find the pub!
