I have known this house for many years. It is like they just walked away from it.

I like the subject in this, it's an interesting old house. It would be nice to see all of the house in the photo, otherwise it's a well done shot. Thanks for sharing this with us and welcome to Caedes. I hope to see more from you in future.

From quiet homes and first beginning, Out to the undiscovered ends, There's nothing worth the wear of winning, But laughter and the love of friends.

Wow..just in time for Halloween! A beauty of an abandoned place. How long has it been empty? It's slowly falling to shambles. Nice sunlight shining on the house and grass. I like the angle of this shot. It must have been a pretty nice home at one time. Thanks for sharing this oldie and welcome to Caedes :))

Welcome to Caedes. not sure how I missed this one..what a sleeper :) I agree with the excellent comments above and I also wanted to add that I am enjoying the clarity here. It really adds to the display and points up the interesting contrast between the old, greying abandoned building and the light green buds on the tree that frames it to the left. This must have been taken in the spring? It would be interesting, if you have the software to do it, to take it to a black and white and put a few Hallloween "decorations" around it and spook it up for the occasion :) don't mind me, you'll see I'm always wanting to do this that or the other thing ...lol...great first submission :)PJ

I wouldn't want to tour that house in the dark. Spooky. Good post. That house isn't located on a hill near a motel is it? Just kidding. :)

This is a really, really nice shot. I like the clarity and the house itself is just.. beautiful (in a creepy, horror movie type way. lol) but still beautiful. Thank you for posting. =)
