Heading to the East Coast (New Brunswick) on the 15th of this month. I won't be back until the 23rd. Hope to have lots of pictures to share.
This is such a most lovely flower, they are the state flower of Oregon...so we have many of them, and you did a grand photo of this one for sure. Such a delicate photo...the colour you captured perfectly..and the lighting is great too. Its a very very pretty photo..Verena

I have a simple formula; do your best and somebody somewhere is bound to like what you did.
I think this is a great photo! It's nice to see all the different parts in focus...whenever I take photos of them I seem to get a petal or the little yellow things out of focus. I like it alot! The only things I could suggest are perhaps looking for a fresher flower...although this one is beautiful it is a little curled up. And then the background....it's nice and blurry which does make the focus flower stand out....but maybe if it was more uniform. Either all dark or all light...or all a certain color...I know that just depends on where the flower is when you take the photo so that's hard to change. Good job though! I like. =)
