I know I did a grasshopper already but I could not resist posting this evil looking dude! Although he did not seem to mind me sticking a camera in his face .. literally.

I never knew they could be that scary looking. You did a wonderful technical job here, but I think I'm going to be up all night thinking about this ugly mug..lol...superbly captured :)PJ

Amazed at the sharp focus here! Where you using a macro lens or a zoom lens? Wonderful composition as well. He's not too terribly handsome when you see him this close LOL - Thumbs way up! - Patty

If you can't find the words, you may as well shoot it...

The impact of this fine photo is even more pronounced if you crop it down -- the insect's antenna is not important to this photo, but its mouthparts are.

Whoa! He looks P' d ! :) The detail you have captured is incredible! Are those his teeth...? Looks like a skull..the way teeth look in a human skull. The eyes are certainly narrowed and forboding...hahaha! Great capture!

A fantastic macro! What camera do you use? I hope to see more of this quality in the future! (By the way - your lens needs cleaning :P )
