I was experimenting in light and textures. I liked the way this turned out ... maybe no the best desktop but I do like it as a picture. Comments welcome. (1/250, f4, 105mm ISO 100)

It's intriguing to say the least, and the sharpness in the foreground is profound. It bothers me a little that we lose the clarity quite so close in, but that's obviously a matter of personal choice.

I like your idea here, but I have a funny feeling I would have liked it in colour better, but I do see the texture and feeling...I kinda wish the background were something different too. Not sure what..but maybe just adding a fine lined frame might have done something...V

Well ... here comes the contrarian ... I like this.

Quite a bit, really.

Your technical proficiency comes to the forefront once again. I think you nailed this one.

And I happen to find this quietly contemplative in its' simplicity and presentation. Visually intriguing and once viewed full-size ... and given some time to take in this offering of yours ... there is a lot to 'see' here.

Nice work. And thanks for pushing our boundaries ... 'we' will get 'there' from 'here' ... give us a chance. ;o)

+fav for me.
