This is a shot of a concrete sculpture called "The Bear Tree" that I took in Grand Marais, Minnesota. The artwork is 21 feet high and was installed in Bear Tree Park in 1953. The artist's name is Ralph Gormley.~~~I loved this sculpture so much that I just wanted to move it a bit closer to me by putting it into a shot of the St. Croix River which is close to my home.
