It is a bit dark... but it represents the feeling of winter very well. The geometric touch to the stalks actually sort of adds to the photo. Like bright white fireworks on a dark sky. I truly like this one.

The only thing I don't like about this upload is your title...there is power in words, and when I read "dead" I almost didn't open it up to look, but since it was you, terri, I thought I'd at least give it a chance, and I'm very glad I did. It is an interesting picture full of life and color. Thanks for posting:)
