Now those are interesting uniforms! I hope you did not sign up because I do not think that is your style Kostas! ;) lol! love the capture though - they are deep in conversation and trying not to notice that you are taking their photograph. I like the way you placed them on the far right - it gives the photograph a good feeling and works well!

"I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled [poets] to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean."
--Socrates (in "Apology")
great detailed shot, you got a nice artistic angle, the two to the right, with same colorful uniforms in contrast with the white background and a piece of the door appearing_and rest, not focus nor theme, properly separated for the left:))
Proud of you, friend, keep on the good work !:)In my Favs !:))
Well, as Patti says this may not be your style of uniform, but they have nothing over on you in the looks department.
I had this in the voting booth earlier this morning and I checked the ten box before I had to rush out the door, and it's only this evening that I get to see whose it is.
Wonderful eye for this shot, as the commenters above have said, and I have to agree that the composition, color and clarity all work beautifully.
I hope this makes it to the perms..it belongs there.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
Now that really brings back memories of '95. The Vatican was fascinating in every way, including the Swiss Guards, in their funny looking uniforms. (I'm sure everybody doesn't think they're funny.) Nice shot.
