Ok there is no shorline and just goes to show you how much water we have. Snow Melt and heavy rains were the cause. But did create some photo opts. Sandi♥
Seen in New Images - this is just Glorious!!
It looks like a park? No so good for walking with that surface flooding but what a magnificent sight at sunset.
Excellent!

Another great one Princess of Reflections. You've captured the flood very well. Maybe the cows have all drowned and this will get really high water marks it deserves. Good photo Tigz

First, nicely exposed and truly beautiful colours Sandi. Your image here is most certainly an eye catcher.
Looking at the resolution sizes, suggests to me that you did do some cropping already.
Now then ... some thoughts ... if you don't mind ...
Your horizon is almost at the exact midpoint. Nothing wrong with that at times, and this may be one of them. However, I would prefer the use of the rule of thirds ... so, cropping some of the foreground water might work. Nothing too drastic, just enough to introduce some more visual dynamics into your composition, simply put.
And it looks like you did indeed recognize the strong effect that repetition within an image can have on your viewers. The light poles or standards form a very interesting leading angular line, which is reinforced by the benches.
Don't know if it is possible ... or, more importantly if you are game enough to try this ... uhm ... how deep is that water?
Think that should tell you where I was going with that thought.
All that said ... you caught my eye with this one. And I can't detect any presence of the 'guards', so kudos on your editing annnnnd photo taking.
Well done. :o)
But of course ... thanks for sharing this scene with us.
Nothing that [at least] kee-high boots could not fix in terms of the water depth !!! LOL OK with the upper part extended and perhaps reinforced - have seen such boots for fishermen ...
Lovely lighting, Sandi !!!
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
That's the way way to make lemonade out of lemons. I hope the levels soon recede, but in the meantime, keep up the excellent work. Knock down gorgeous.
Wow!Beautiful...The water is great, the clarity of the picture is really nice too, and it seems that the melting of the snow is good for something too..Am I right? :) This photo goes to my favorites anyways :)Thanks for sharing.
