I want to wish all a good New Year!
I wanted to try out the new canon ef 70-300 IS USM lens on a sunrise and here was my opt.
I had the camera mode on RAW and used the faithful selection, which I had not done before. Also have been messing with the settings on the camera still for color, sharpness, contrast and color tone.
RAW format, Picture Style Faithful, Program AE, Tv 1/80,AV 4.5, ISO 100, focal length 90.0, WB Daylight.

Beautiful sunrise Tigz. I knew you would post one of these today being the morning person you are. I am glad you did. Camera and lens are like putty in your hands. Outstanding. I just checked and my camera is still enroute. It spent New Year's Eve in New Stanton, PA. lol

If you have a garden please feed the birds this winter, & supply drinking water not ice, it's so important. . . . Please help dwindling bird numbers survive.
I'm glad you're the morning person on the job. I was still sleeping when all this beauty was going on and of course being a thousand +/- miles away doesn't help, but I'm glad you were there!
