I was so suprised and pleased to catch a glimpse of this Bluebird sitting on the lilac bush this morning. There were two of them briefly and have not seen them since. I do hope they will be back, I have a bluebird feeder out there, my newest addition! :) This was the best I could get of them.

Bluebirds are such beautiful birds & sometimes difficult to capture. I had a family of bluebirds settle in one of my birdhouses a few summers ago. Then the swallows chased them out. I hope they will return this summer.
Excellent detail on the bird ... looks like it is waiting for it's mate. The background color is a perfect contrast too. I'd say this is a superb capture Sandi. I'll be enjoying this one for a long time. Faves!

Great capture Tigz. They are hard to catch them sitting still for any length of time. I like its over the shoulder look. The head looks a little dark to me, but not much. That solid white line in the background might me interfering as well. Good post Mizz Febz.
