After posting and removing the original, another Caedes member gaeljet2 did a rework of it. This has a bit of HDR work done to it, and he lightened, and brought more life to it.

I'm very pleased with his rework of it, I know most of you did not see the original as I took it off not long after posting it. It was a alot darker image, and at the time I thought it was ok, I can see how wrong I was. :)

This was taken at the Bonneyville Mill County Park, in Bristol Indiana. You can buy flour and cornmeal that is still made at the mill. I was standing in front of the mill looking outward. My favorite flowers (Dahlia's) are growing beautifully just to the left of the image out of view.

Thank you gaeljet2 for the wonderful rework.

I want to thank you for your comments, and hope you like his work.

I didn't see the original, Sandi, so I don't know how dark it was, but this looks really fine. It looks like a painting. I really like the perspective and the reds in there.

---I can see how wrong I was---

Can't agree with you Sandi. It's just a matter of taste!
To me Gael did a wonderful rework, but with an image which isn't basicly good, even Gael isn't able to make a good post of it. Miracles don't exist in photography.
Regards, Cornelius.

Very nice Sandi. This work has just the right amount of HDR so as to enhance but not overpower the photo. The best HDR effect work I have seen.

I didn't have the opportunity to see the original, but this is outstanding, Sandi! I love the colour tones and beautiful reflections! I also love the foliage on the far left that is changing in colour to orange, yellow and reds, that's also reflected in the water! The addition of the red structure and bridge gate is also striking! Kudos to you both! Faved+
