Some might remember I posted a couple of images of her during the summer. I came across this one and thought it was good enough to post.
Here is a link to the first one I posted of her which managed to make one of the Caedes Calendars.
I managed to find her on two different days for lots of shots.
When we cleared out the garden we found her empty nest.
I would like to thank you in advance for your comments.

Excellent shot and I too like the shadow in it - it gives more depth to the symphony of green.

It appears as if it's looking down at it's own shadow on the leaf! Wonderful, clear capture of your star Praying Mantis, Sandi! I can't get over how much it blends in with it's natural surroundings :)

Praying Mantis? What Praying Mantis? I don't see a Praying Mantis. All I see are some beautiful green leaves. Oh wait...now I see it. (It takes a while for me ol' eyes to focus sometimes.) LOL. Gorgeous work on both of the pictures, Sandi.

I'm very busy with the Chrismas preparations Sandi. My children (in law) and my 4 grandchilren (and a dog) will be my 'guests' from Christmas Eve until Sunday. It will be a great time for us all. Hope you'll have a wonderful Christmas too.
