A Nuthatch at the feeder. These birdies are very quick, so I was thrilled to get a few shots. Why my lilac bush has buds on it, I have no idea? It's cold out there!

The canon 450D and Canon 70-300 IS USM lens was used. Ran it through the Nikon program "NX 2". Taken out my window, when the birdies start showing up I brave the cold and open the window and keep watch! Of course I usually bundle up some too! :)

Thank you in advance for your comments, I do hope that our dear and witty friend Owd Timer is doing better. I know he is missed by many.

I also want to add that I'm thinking of Cindy (Cynlee) and our friend Stan (roseman).

Again thanks, ♪ ♫ :)sandi♪ =^..^=

Nuthatches are aptly named Tigz. That is either a large Nuthatch or a small feeder. Great shot. Owd Timer is a bit better. Check my latest post.

Do Nuthatches always eat upside down? Purdy birdie, Sandi. Very nice capture. I am thinking of Stan, Cindy, and OB, too.

You got a fabulous quick shot of this little speed demon. Yes I had 2 of them today fighting over the suet at on time, they sure are fun to watch.

Your capture is really superb

Beautiful capture, Sandi! I love the earth tones and the superb lighting you achieved! The thin vines and buds of your lilac is so lovely against the blurred background! Excellent details, and I also love the burnt sienna in his tail! Trying to imagine life upside down now! :P Faved.

This is really a great shot mainly because you got the fast moving bird so clearly. The colours on the bird are so beautiful. Very nice job Sandi.
