Captured this handsome fella this morning, with the same lens, and converter combo.
I have not seen that many cardinals, and when I have they have been so darn quick! Finally this guy was just enjoying the goodies too much I guess.
This has been cropped, flipped and I cloned out some of the seeds around him.

These shots are through a window, right? Is this a roof top outside the window, Sandy, or is he at some distance? I ask because I can only get close enough to the birds if I hang out the window and then, of course, I scare them away! lol You are getting some really nice color too. This fellow really stands out. Glad he stayed a bit to let you capture him.

Cardinals are very industrious Tigz. They can take the flipping, cloning, cropping and filtering with the best of them. I really like the bright red coloring.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.
I have found out that male Cardinal's are very elusive & quick also ... more than the female. I like how the bright red contrasts with the blue tinted snow. Beautiful capture Sandi.
