Went to my mom's today, and there are usually squirrles out and about, today was no exception, and I had my camera with me.
Used the caon 70-200 with the converter. Hand held, and I was standing outside in the cold for this shot, no windows. :)
I have removed by two previous postings from today, so sorry to all of you who commented, and the mods as well.
I decided after some good advice was given they deserved more than what I gave them, so will redo them, and post later.
Thank you in advance for your comments, and advice is always appreciated.

This is a really great image of this squirrel in the winter snow.The light in the background enhances him very nicely.Sometimes the snow can take on a different hue but I think it makes this all the more appealing.Fine image Sandi !

Sandi, many thanks for the dedication & birthday wishes. Most of the squirrels hide out in my woods during the winter months, so I never see them. I like how this one appears to be praying ... perhaps for spring to arrive early. Nice detail, lighting, & composition. Very well done & thank you again.

They certainly are little rascals. Eubeen had a cute shot of a red squirrel carrying off an apple that was bigger than itself and now this shot of a little guy being lit from the front is another cutie. I want to dislike them for stealing the bird food, but they are just so funny and pose so cutely, I can't. I like the one Autumn leaf in this image too.

This is such a great photo! It's interesting how you made the snow more blueish, but it adds a nice appeal to the picture. I like it!
