It's a beautiful flower shot, Sandi. 1 or 2 clicks of negative gamma would have filled in the detail in those light outside petals without causing any other change, unless you used any Saturation.
Yet another beautifully detailed flower shot, Tigs. My father is color blind but he could still see the orange in this beauty. This is the same color as the CalTrans workers use in their vests when working on the freeways. It makes them really easy targets.
Excuse me for saying so, but I believe I'm seeing a flaw in this shot. On the far left and the lower right of the petal, I see a very fine dark line. I get that sometimes. Do you know what causes that? Also at the very bottom of the petal it looks like a small blur like a teardrop that fell onto a watercolor painting. Since I never see any flaws in your work, it makes me feel like I'm somebody special if I can just demoralize you -- if only a little bit. :-)
Sandi, it's already Saturday morning here when I view your post, so it's a belated F² image (lol!) to me, but a very special and beautiful one. Knowing that you are very busy, like to thank you sincerely for your attempt, done to offer us this beauty on time.
Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I could, I would give you an award. But alas, I cannot. So the highest praise I can award you with, is faving your artwork.
So well done in details and colours Sandi.. I am not a flower photographer although I really enjoy them from others... so no Friday contribution from me.. only Friday enjoying :-) Have a good weekend! Mich
