I tried 6 different versions, and for me this was the best.
Cropped, sharpened, and selective highlighing on the skipper.
These little guys are hard to capture, they are very small, and active.

I agree with Jen. This is the most difficult to take color. I use for this so bright color -1EV or even -2EV compansation. Good focus on the face of the skipper.

Well the little skipper is sharper than anything. Funny how the bug takes on the colors of the flower. Must be some kind of protective phenomena.

It is a difficult colour to capture Sandi but you have managed that well. Nice foofy shot with its visitor.

I've seen these flying creatures before, but didn't know what they are called ... and yes, they are very quick. Beautiful orange color on the flower & the skipper looks like it's enjoying it too. Wonderful capture, Sandi.
