Sandi, once sparrows were the most common birds in my country, but for several reasons they have become pretty rare now. They have became the 'protected bird' status in order to get their number bigger.

Wonderful capture Sandi! Very soft and nice coloring. Marvelous detail of the handsome fella. These guys are all over where I live.

He's a colorful sparrow! Ours are mostly all brown shades. But I just keep feeding them!...hehe...Superb and pretty capture girl!

Aww, what a sweet looking sparrow. You're getting some nice clarity on these birdies. Because of the direction he's facing I might have cropped this one just behind his tail tho. The trees behind him kind of pull the eye away from the main subject. But you did capture him very nicely :)
