One more from the Calendar gardens, this garden is my favorite place to get pictures, I get so many shots in one place.

I have been talking to Jon the master gardner, and designer of the gardens, and he has more planned in the future for this lovely place.

This gardens is considered in some fashion a part of the county parks dept. but the money used to keep it going all comes from money in a trust that was left by Beth Defries, who passed away last December, all money from that trust pays Jon, and his helper Pam to keep the garden going, and growing strong. He told me if it was not the money she left for the care of this wonderful place, that they would neglect it.

This was a project of Beth, and Jon's and even though the park dept. does get some of the profits from certain events, they find it a pein in their side! There is so much politics involved in so many things in our life, it is shame it has to be this way for this lovely place.

I'm just glad I was able to meet Beth a couple of years ago, when she was still coming to the gardens.
