Also known as Defries Garden named for the lovely woman who donated this land to the Elkhart county parks dept.

It is a continuing work in progress, Jon Cutrell had a vision many years ago, and after meeting Beth Defries was able to make that vision come true.

Beth passed away last December, but what a wonderful gift she has left for all to enjoy, thanks also to Mr.Cutrell who designed this beautiful garden, and continues to make improvements. I believe this has been a project of his for about 6 years. He told me that the statue in this shot, was a real challenge because of the weight, and ended up costing more than he originally thought. :)

I hope you enjoyed yet another visit to the garden, and thank you for the views, and comments.

This is a stunningly beautiful garden and I think that the statue being a focal point in this part, was well worth its cost. The colour and angle you have taken this is brilliant. Well done!

I love that black-eyed susan border lining the path to the statue - lovely vertical.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
