A very realistic capture - the crepe paper texture and natural colour is impressive Sandi

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I like the color, and the paper look of the foofies, Sandi. The bright sunshine is a plus also.

I do like it especially one being closed and the other opened up.The colours in these Poppy's are lovely and warm looking and nice composition, plus good sharp detail too.

They are very special. They look as if they were made of paper. This is a very well taken photo.

You nailed their unique texture perfectly Sandi and with the always challenging red color.

Beautiful colours and nice lighting in this close up Sandi. A nice DoF in the photo and textures in the petals.

You really captured their natural beauty Sandi. Reminded of a verse that talks about how the flowers are clothed and that we shouldn't take an anxious thought. These beauties are really clothed.

I always think of the line: "Poppies will put them to sleep!" Pretty color! and with your usual excellent clarity...

I had a labrador who used to delight in biting the buds from the poppy plans before they opened and just leaving the stems behind. I am glad he did not get to spoil these beauties!
