Used a 31mm macro extension tube for this one, and possibly a contest entry? I know it's not a your in face macro, so will keep at it, and then decide.

wow, thats rather cool! how did you get on with the tubes? i have some somewhere...!! i tried them and couldnt get on with them, but maybe i will be inspired to find out what ive done with them..! hehe

Sandi, this is an excellent macro of the bee. Amazing detail & I love the color contrasts. Would do very well in the contest.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Wow this out right stunning and the light reflecting of the back of the bee add that extra wow factor to the beautiful and colourful capture.

I like the shallow depth of field. I also notice you got it just deep enough to get the entire bee and the flower in focus while letting the background blur out. Very well done. Good photo for the current contest..
