I'm not sure of the story behind this ostrich, and what brought him/her to Black Pine Animal Sanctuary. ?? He/she kept moving, and there were people close by, I thought it was a cute mug shot though, I found the focus a bit soft so tried to work it some without going overboard.??

Thank you for commenting, I hope you a nice day.

Good close-up shot Sandi. The focus looks good to me. Also the details are clear here.

Nice focus Sandi. The softness is the ticket on this. The light is shining so perfect on the portrait shot as if you added fill light. I like the hairy outlines all around the ostrich's head and neck that is exposed by the light. The angle of the head is a great pose.

Nice portrait shot, Sandi. You can easily improve the eyes exposure using the circle Selection in PhotoFiltre, and adding some + gamma.

Great portrait, Tigz.
Looks like a kid that got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

I once heard an ostrich farmer saying that he loved ostriches but that they were so stupid that when it rained they sometimes just stared straight up with their mouths open and were often in danger of drowning! This is a gorgeous portrait of a gorgeous bird.
