Yesterday I visited a new place "Tippecanoe River State Park" this was a 1 1/2 drive for me one way, and it was a beautiful almost cloudless day. They are calling for a week of chances of rain, so I wanted to make the most of the day.
This park offers 2,761 acres of park to enjoy with 10 miles (16 km) of hiking trails, and 13 miles (20 km) of horseback riding trails. It borders the Tippecanoe river which flows out of Tippecanoe lake, which is only a few minutes from my home.
This is the horseman's campground and there were a few campers set up here. My daughter brings her horses down here throughout the year, she hangs out with her horse loving friends for a few days of just hanging out, and doing what they love the most, horseback riding, and sitting around the campfire.
I had missed the crowds, over the weekend, it was very busy! People getting their last fix of camping, and enjoying the color, dogs are allowed here on a leash, and I did see a gentleman walking his dog, while I was driving around, and exploring.I used the Nikon D3000 for this day of shooting, and editing was done with photofiltre, and ribbet.
Thank you for the comments my friends.
