I would like you to meet Tom Tom. He is a stray who started showing up around my mom's this past summer. We have made a bond, and when the weather was nice I would have my morning coffee sitting on that swing on the front porch you see in the picture, with him usually by my side.
Now that the weather is cold, I have propped open the porch door, and have made him what I call a cat house.
I placed a folded army blanket on the cold porch cement, with another old blanket on top of that, and using a lawn chair placed another old blanket over the chair, and it's totally enclosed except for the cat door which is pointing away from the front of the porch where the screen is,to cut down on cold air blowing in.
Most of the time he can be found just laying on the swing, but he has that extra option, and with the extreme cold temps we are due for soon, (they are calling for a high of 0 next Tuesday, at least he has another option.
I'm a softie through, and through, I still have the rescue kitty Bella that is inside the house, and is now spayed.
I would like to get Tom neutered, and when the weather gets better I'm going to try getting him into a carrier, and see how he reacts. One of my cats at my house just will not travel in a carrier, so I will have to see how Tom does.

Pretty Cat. We have one like that only without the white. We now have a black stray that we made a box for outside the door and and we put a pet heating pad in for him. We had him fixed to make his and everyone elses life a little easier. I wish more people would take care of their pets and keep these from going stray. I think it would be great if more people would take these animals in and give them a chance. It will do your hearts good.

What a cutie...he reminds me of Morris the cat who used to be in tv commercials...do you remember him?...glad to hear this feline has refuge and someone who cares...thanks for that SAS and for this lovely shot of him.

He's a gorgeous boy who's lucky he's found you and your mom. Mrs b used to have a ginger tom called Tom when she was a teenager. We're glad to hear that Bella is still doing well.

He really looks like a well fed cat. I guess it is hard not to be a softy when they look so pitifully at you. Once you feed them they are yours. Good and close shot of Tom Tom, Sandi.

I think I have praised this feline-canine mix already somewhere else :), but now in the proper resolution and full size I just found out that Tom is watching me regardless how I view the image - he is following one with those big green eyes !
To me professional nose he has lots of properties desirable in a feline spy assistant. Besides, he blends perfectly with and between Boris [SAAB] and General [SAK9] - this is agent CJ's dog - boxer.

Tom Tom looks like he fell into a tub of honey (as my mother used to say)... More power to you, Tigs! If Bob wasn't dangerously allergic to cats, we'd be adopting strays too. Tom is a beautiful cat. I hope he can be 'gentled' so he can enjoy a softer, safer longer life...

I absolutely love him girlfriend, he's a very handsome fellow. I'm with you, I'd be a softie like that also. Don't see too many strays around here with all the coyotes, wolves and foxes, only wild bunnies

What a beautiful cat! The photo captures his personality perfectly! You've obviously taken good care of him, because he looks so well fed and peaceful. I have two strays that have become part of the family as well...both solid black! The tuxedo cat in my photo was also a stray, but she passed away awhile back.
