I have been playing around again with the software. :).
As I sit here, and type this out, it's snowing again, and we have a weather advisory issued. :( It seems just about everywhere this year there are many weather issues, I sure hope mother nature changes her attitude soon. :)

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
Nice effects used on the original and it now looks like a beautiful painting. Hope the weather situation improves soon.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
I love the background on this Sandi - it sets off the butterfly and flowers so well. We woke up to another 6" of snow this morning and plummeting temperatures - going below zero again tonight. I'm waving a white flag!

This is a very pleasant, slightly whimsical, Monarch portrait. The essence of a painting is very strong here and gives the piece a timeless quality that seems to be missing from a mere photograph. I find it strange how we value images differently, depending on whether it appears an actual human put brush to paper or not. You've simulated the handmade effect electronically, but achieved the mood of a painting, so kudos for your wonderfully successful creation. Oh, and we still get a little sunshine here on the left coast. Why not come on over and stay awhile?

I really like this manip Sandi - it has a beautiful metallic look - excellent.
