One more capture of this Painted Lady Butterfly at the Calendar gardens. I used Smart Photo Editor for the final edit. The same settings as the first, and flash fill was used.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Very good capture Sandi. Nice close up with good sharpness. I'm finally seeing a few butterflies around here now.

Perfect shot Sandi. The colours on the butterfly and the flowers and the blurred background have come out nicely. By the way the sports mode is quite good for taking photos of flying birds.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

Sandi, I would like to nuance Bob's comment somewhat. Think that without a 'fill-in flash' the result wasn't be that good.
Now it has become a stunning image again.
Recently I've learned in my vocabulary the word 'wowser'. Think it's an appropriate word for this image as well!

Regards, Cornelius.

For not seeing many of these this year, you took advantage of the ones you did see Tigz.
Spectacular shot. I love the Bokeh.
