Here is a throwback picture from 1963 of me with my mom, and dad. This sits on a shelf in one of the bedrooms, and I thought to myself why not use a true B&W for the B&W challenge.
I did do a little bit of tweaking in LR 5.
I remember my mom was just getting over having issues with bell's palsy, and back then she had to wear a dark shield over her one eye, and had just had it removed not long before this was taken. She healed from that thankfully just fine.
I will give my age away when I say I was 13 when this was taken.
This picture was taken at Austin Fox studio back in the day. I cloned out the name, and then thought maybe I should give the name of the studio. :)

Ah ha! The mystery lady is revealed! You and I are the same age. (Still young...right?) Very nice family portrait, Sandi. Were you a spoiled only child? LOL.

Sandi - Family portraits such as this are gems to cherish - especially when you get to the youthful age that several of us share. I like the composition, with the studio frame opened an on display.

This is indeed a treasure Sandi and I would have been 12 when this was taken so we are of a similar age. I think many of us here on Caedes are of similar ages. I like the way you composed this and the B&W works perfectly.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Very nice old style portrate photo and the camera person should did a nice job for the family with this one.I like the old B&W photo they were great for bring out character and light.

A lovely family portrait, SAS...what strikes me is that you don't look so adverse to having your picture taken here as in another one I saw of you...also, your father resembles Prince Phillip a lot, IMO...and, as for dating yourself, I suspect many of us fit in the same time period but we're all young at heart and still act like a bunch of kids, which is a good way to be...good one for the challenge.
