I will be leaving the house early tomorrow, so thought I would post this one early.

We have had so much rain, so I thought I would put the new macro lens to use for something different from me. This lovely was hidden behind other flowers, and I had to lean in and step lightly.

The editing was done in the canon software, but cropped in resized in photofiltre.

I hope to get this type of shot even closer, but still in the learning mode, and this was a difficult shot to start with.

Thank you in advance for your comments.

Macro photograph is so much fun and it appears that you've practically mastered it, Sandi. It takes a steady hand (or tripod) and you captured the droplet just before its perilous fall to earth. Fantastico.

Outstanding macro shot, Sandi. I love the way that droplet is about to fall off the end of the flower. Excellent work again with the new lens.

A lovely shot. May I suggest a tighter crop of the flower and rain drop. You are giving that new lens a workout. Keep them coming.
