Just one of things that you will see at the calendar gardens, (that is a clay pot) by the zinnia. (Defries Garden). used the new lens, higher f/stop, and did some slight editing.
I've always heard that rusty old things make flowers grow better and I guess these gardens are taking advantage of that. This is very pretty, Sandi, with the orange bloom, the green leaves and the lovely colors in the rusty piece.
The clay pot looks older than the dirt the flowers are planted in! You captured a beauty here, Sandi. The pot really makes it an interesting picture. Outstanding color and lighting. Well done.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
Wow, that is really crisp. I love the texture variations both physically and artistically. Fresh flower against aged pottery, silky petals against the rough vase surface. Nicely done... and I want you new lens :)
I'm loving the texture of that clay pot, looks like it's rusty but I know clay doesn't rust. Magnificent composition and capture and the colour plus detail is spot on
