From the monarch release yesterday.I do have permission from the boys parents to share it.

Brenda had a few neighborhood children over to enjoy the release.

I do have a few more to post. This gave me a different photo opt too.

I appreciate your comments, thank you.

I have only seen that on TV Sandi. Nice capture of the boy as the first contact of the Monarch with the outside world.

A precious moment indeed Sandi. I can't determine the expression on the face of the boy. Think he's amazed having a Monarch landed on his hand.
Good capture to bring the size of the Monarch in perspective.
Perfectly done again my friend.

Oh, well done, Tigs. We see so many pictures of flutter-byes it is hard to get a perspective of size on many. Not only do we get a feel for the size, we also get a feel for the glorious release from the amazement on the boys face.

Emptiness is not nothingness. It is simply the opposite of full of it.

What a great experience for children - it was nice of your friend to share the butterfly release with them - and for you to have camera in hand for this fine capture.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
