Thanks for the exif data, Sandi. When I initially looked at this data, comparing it with your thumbnail size image , I supposed that these weather conditions allows you to choose for a slower shutter speed (with a higher aperture number as result). A somewhat better DOF could be achieved, but after viewing your image at full screen size, I realized that the result is already perfect. 'Cool' image (literally and figuratively meant, lol). Very well done, my friend!

This handled the light so well with nice detail and composition. Most of my wintery shots are taken at 5.6 , ISO 200 and the shutter speed depends on the light..fine photo sandi.

I like seeing the two different shots with the changing light conditions - this has it's own unique winter beauty.

I like this shot Sandi. The lake surface is very clear and so is the shore. The sky looks very good too.

The sky looks threatening, it's a great capture though.

That is a very dramatic landscape image Sandi. The sky and the icy expanse seem to flow from left to right. Gives a sense of movement and makes me want to lean left. Bravo!

Time to strap the skates on and get a free skating lesson form Pat. A great view of the frozen lake, Sandi. Nice composition of the photo.
