I'm a barn fan also as you can probably tell by ones I send in. This is a nice capture and it has unusual doors into it. Never seen one quite like this. Glad you caught it on your walk.
Nice find Tigs and so well photographed - like the lighting and the long shadows - love old barns as well - this one has a lot of character - Excellent Capture!!!!!!!!!
Interesting. I'm fascinated by old cemeteries and the history they contain. They're not morbid places at all, just sad for the loss the survivors endured. Old barns are also interesting historical artifacts, with their own stories to tell. I'm so glad you have the interest for this, because our history is disappearing in front of our eyes. As a matter of fact, my paternal grandfather's brother Byron died behind his own barn in North Dakota, after a running truck he was working on took off while he was stuck to the front. It crashed through both both walls of his barn and he died alone and unmissed on the far side. How many other stories like that are intertwined with these old buildings?
Needs 'some' maintenance, Sandi, ☺ ! I was just kidding of course. I like to say however that the lack of maintenance adds to the photogenic character of this barn. Perfectly seen and captured, my friend!
