Sandi, referring to your title: to me this very fine image could be taken yesterday.
I would like to point out that as people get older, time seems to go much faster. I have heard a plausible explanation for this: the 'hard disk' (aka brain,☺) of young people is almost empty, so that they can store all their new experiences. Older people however, have a 'hard disk' which is almost full so their new experiences have to be stored selectively. The latter is then experienced as the faster passage of time.

We've got a long wait ahead of us here. We've had our first little snow and I've sent in a photo of it. Maybe that is all we'll get, Ha! Ha! Anyway we have this gorgeous bloom to look forward too.
