I have no idea what kind of flower this is, but it always draws my attention. It's one of many in the wildflower mix that was planted on my friends property.
There are so many wild flowers, this is a beauty though. I've never seen one like this around our area, so I've not a clue to what it is. Thanks for sharing.
Think it's the Cosmos sulphureus (orange), Sandi, with common names like 'sulfur cosmos' and 'yellow/orange cosmos'. Anyhow a wonderful and happy F² contribution!
