Yesterday morning I spotted my first Oriole for the season, yay! When I took my walk around the neighborhood, I also saw my first Eastern Eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly. For me that was a terrific start to my day.

This was taken through my bedroom window.

Thanks for your comments.

Beautiful capture of Oriole, I haven't seen any here yet. Should be coming though. I like the holder you have.

That is a nice shot. It is colorful and clear, Sandi. So you are venturing out and about now. Stay safe.

Very nice photo of the colourful bird sitting at the orange coloured bowl.
Sharp focus on the bird too.

Sandi, I'm not a specialist when it comes to birds, but think that in my country an Oriole is called Icterus.
Regardless its name, it's a wonderful bird, perfectly captured by you!

Your capture makes this day terrific! If there is ever an afterlife and we are reincarnated, I would love to be this birdie. Stunning capture and a favorite.

Beautiful bird and shot, SAS...and very well composed with the other bits of orange that match the color of the oriole...that 'bowl' looks like half an orange.
