I took this after a good rain, the name is Black Mamba. I'm posting my Foofy Friday post a bit early. It seems there is not enough time in the day lately. This is one of the potted plants I bought from the Amish greenhouse, and is out on the patio.

I do appreciate your comments.

Oh my goodness that flower is amazing! It is so richly black. I think it's pretty. Thanks for sharing, Sandi.

It looks like a petunia but I've never seen this one before - really nice FF Sandi.

Before I saw the flower I thought that you probably meant "Black Mamba" :). Very unusual and lovely flower for this Friday Sandi.

Sandi, I think that Raj is right by calling this Petunia hybrid 'Black Mamba'. I saw them in a flower shop, but, although they are wonderful, I don't/didn't have them in my garden.
Very fine Foofy Friday (F²) contribution!

It is very unusual and I find it interesting that it came from an Amish Greenhouse.
Great shot Tigz. I know what you mean about not enough time in the day even though it gets longer this time of the year.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

You made the most of the ornate glossy reflections, nailed the focus, what an amazing flower.
