I always look forward to seeing these beautiful birds as they migrate through our area. I used the Nikon D500 with the Nikkor 80-400mm lens and took it through a clean window.

An excellent photograph, Sandi. Reading your narrative, I noticed that, for me to replicate your photo, I would need to get the camera, the lens, and find a clean window!

Sandi, I agree with John, about the quality of your photograph.
By taking a capture through a window, there's the danger of some undesired reflections/flare, but you've managed this 'danger' perfectly!

Really crisp details especially through a window - I love when I spot an oriole - don't see them too often though.
