I always look forward to seeing these beautiful birds as they migrate through our area. I used the Nikon D500 with the Nikkor 80-400mm lens and took it through a clean window.
An excellent photograph, Sandi. Reading your narrative, I noticed that, for me to replicate your photo, I would need to get the camera, the lens, and find a clean window!
Sandi, I agree with John, about the quality of your photograph. By taking a capture through a window, there's the danger of some undesired reflections/flare, but you've managed this 'danger' perfectly!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
