My contribution for Foofy Friday.

I do appreciate your comments.

I would like to tell you that I reached out to an old Caedes friend on fb messenger who lives in Poland (Marzena) also known as Sam. We messaged back and forth about the crisis and she is very concerned about the outcome of course, not only for Ukraine but also her country. She lives about 900 miles from the border but she lives in a significant area that might be a target if Poland is invaded.

I hope you will join me in keeping her and her country in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days!

Thank you! tigs=^..^=

A wonderful Foofy Friday (F²) contribution again, Sandi.

Thanks also for the update regarding SAM's situation. The war in Ukraine is frightening for all of humanity because Russia has threatened to use nuclear weapons. For the European countries west of Russia, the violence of war is a nightmare. The western European countries are doing everything they can to offer the Ukrainian refugees a safe shelter. Your heart aches when you see the images of traumatized children.
And all for power and money.
In this way, the Christmas idea of peace and well-being on earth has become a farce.

Beautiful dahlia Sandi - I have a friend who emigrated to the USA from Poland right before the USSR came undone - she still has a daughter living in Poland so I'm getting regular updates. I will keep SAM in my thoughts.

Lovely and bright and cheerful Sandi.
The situation of the war is ghastly and is never far from my thoughts. I have been so impressed by the generosity of people welcoming refugees into their countries and their homes. The wreckage of buildings and the terror of the people is heartbreaking. I am thinking of Marzy.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
