Sandi, when using a vantage point taken in the shadow, there's a risk of overexposing the background. You've apparently recognized this danger very well, resulting in a beautiful and well-balanced composition/photograph. Good photographic work from you again!

Oh, gosh, I really like this. The result is stunning, even from a distance, you see the beauty and makes for a wonderful capture. I have been busy this summer with family from the states and helping out with our granddaughter (4 years old) and glad to get back to viewing the photos here.
